The Safety Committee has adopted a safety award program to encourage suggestion from all employees and students. The committee has purchased suggestions boxes and has displayed them in the following areas.                                                                                                                                      

Leavitt Hall reception area.     
Payson break room.
BIW building.                                                                                                                                                                
Public Works break room.      
Curtis Hall break room.
Dismukes registrars office.

Prior to each Safety Committee meeting the boxes will be checked and suggestions brought to the meeting. At the meeting, time will be taken to examine each suggestion, a vote will be taken as to whether the suggestion has merit or not. All those with at least 75% approval will be taken into serious consideration and a winner will be selected, and awarded $25.00. In the event of a tie each winner will be given the $25.00 award. At the end of each year an annual winner will be picked from the monthly winners. This winner will be given an second award of $100.00
