The Director of Safety and Security or his/her designee will be responsible for canceling trips in the event of severe or inclement weather. His/Her decision shall pertain to any scheduled trips until such time as he/she feels that conditions are safe once again. If weather conditions are such that there is a question about the safety of undertaking a return trip, the approved driver is responsible for contacting the Department of Safety and Security for instructions. Any decision to cancel a scheduled trip will be final.
